| The AirForce LS-1 is designed to
be mounted and sighted in by the user without tools. The knurled,
coin-slotted adjustment and locking screws allow the user to adjust beam
alignment with out the tools required by other laser sighting systems.
The LS-1 is waterproof and shockproof and may be used on any air guns or
firearms. It can be used as a stand alone sighting system or in
conjunction with a rifle scope to aid in range finding. The sight
includes a mount for use on most adult air guns and .22 rimfire dovetail
rails. The laser battery housing is 3/4" diameter and may also be
mounted to other rail systems with a 3/4" scope ring. U1034
NRA President Kayne Robinson likes adult air guns.
He not only supports NRA air gun programs aimed at adults but also shoots
them himself. When Mr. Robinson stumbled across the AirForce booth
while attending the S.H.O.T. Show this year he became intrigued with the new
line of precision air rifles the company makes and was surprised to learn
they were actually manufactured in the U.S. He asked fellow Iowan
Leigh Wilcox, owner of Airgun Express, about the company. Airgun
Express is a large mail order company specializing in air guns and
accessories and one of AirForce's largest retailers. Wilcox not only
recommended the brand but also call AirForce's president, John McCaslin, and
made him aware of Mr. Robinson's interest and support, Wilcox and McCaslin
decided to present him with a personalized AirForce Talon air rifle complete
with scope, laser and bipod. The presentation took place at Mr.
Robinson's office in Des Moines in May. |
